About Us
The Central/Southeast ABLE Resource Center
is one of four regional resource centers funded by the Ohio Board of
Regents. These centers provide leadership and expertise in the areas of
professional development and instructional resources for Adult Basic and
Literacy Education (ABLE) staff. Housed in the College of Education and
part of The Literacy Center at Ohio University, we provide services to
30 ABLE funded programs in 28 counties in the central/southeast region
of Ohio. Over 500 administrators, instructors, aides and support staff
are in the region.
Key focus areas include:
- Supporting & advancing professional development in the region;
- Enhancing & expanding instructional technologies & resources;
- Promoting & developing promising initiatives & collaboration.
